Nicole "Coco" Neal - Development Manager
Nicole Neal is honored to have established herself personally and professionally as a hospitality professional, with a strong legacy in community leadership. In her role as Development Manager, Nicole supports fundraising efforts for Candlelighters through a strategic development plan that includes donor stewardship and cultivation, charitable initiatives and community engagement opportunities.
Prior to segueing to the non-profit sector, Nicole served for over two decades in hospitality leadership including: hotel manager for Kimpton Hotels, director of concierge & guest experience for Ritz Carlton Hotel Company as well as public relations and communications director for Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts. Most recently, Nicole served as resource development director for Communities In Schools of Nevada and director of corporate initiatives for Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada where she identified and executed key projects that boosted the organization’s success. She also served as director of events & engagement for the Vegas Chamber where she cultivated, developed and leveraged new relationships with corporate and nonprofit organizations across the valley.
Nicole attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she earned her degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and Stanford University where she participated in the Writers Studio certificate program. She was a graduate of Leadership Las Vegas’ class of 2017.
Fun Facts:
- Nicole met her husband during her first month in college after getting her quarter stuck in the dormitory’s washing machine.
- Nicole’s favorite food is French fries
- Nicole considers Audrey Hepburn to be her role model as she lived for helping others and was forever humble.
